WSET Level 1 Award in Wines for Women

One-Day Wine Academy on Wednesday 27th March at Buxted Park Hotel. Hosted by Jennifer Segal.

Ladies, can you identify Chardonnay from Cabernet? Unsure of the difference between Malbec and Merlot? Immerse yourself in this friendly, engaging and edifying day-course where you will be gently guided through an introduction to wines. A perfect entrée for all ages to learn the basics of wine for personal enjoyment and social and professional entertaining.

Starting 9.30am arrival with tea & coffee, we will break for lunch at 1pm, and end the day by 5.30pm.

Explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell and taste, learning the fundamentals of how to pair wine with food. A selection of Hand Picked red, white, rosé, sweet and sparkling wines will be tasted on the day, offering a broad exposure. You will be well prepared for a 45-minute 30-question multiple choice examination at the end of the day, followed by a celebration with a glass of sparkling wine.

Upon successful completion of the course participants receive a WSET® Certificate and lapel pin as well as a generous goody bag featuring deluxe products from vinous spa & skincare line Caudalie Paris.
