“ I’ve attended many HHBA events and have been struck by the energy of the group and how easy it’s been to meet people. You don’t need to be a ‘professional’ networker to get a lot out of it. ” Chris Wigglesworth – Coursecheck Ltd

We have found membership of HHBA to be the best way to raise our profile in the local business community and get to know key contacts in the area, while in the process helping to build valuable long term relationships with a variety of different people. We enjoy attending the monthly gatherings which are always interesting and lead to some useful conversations, while we have also received some good feedback from posting news items about our firm in the weekly newsletter, as well as on occasion being one of its sponsors. Jonathan Lea – The Jonathan Lea Network | Business Solicitors

I have been involved with the Haywards Heath Business Association since being elected as MP for Mid Sussex in 2019. They are a professional organisation that supports its members to grow their business and local jobs, developing relationships between businesses, and to provide direct links to local Councils and their MP, which the HHBA has strong engagements and a good working relationship with. HHBA is a fantastic positive group, who will help shape our recovery and help Mid Sussex to thrive. Mims Davies MP – Member of Parliament for Mid Sussex

As a new business I’ve found the HHBA a hugely valuable investment. I’ve met a welcoming, friendly group comprised of a wide range of industries at regular, interesting events and become part of a local business community. My recent 1-1 session with Sue Llewellyn with really constructive on how to maximise my HHBA membership and connect my business with others locally. If members haven’t taken advantage of it yet, then that’s something to put on the list!    Dan Ford – StoryScreen – Video creator and presentation coach

“ I have been a member of the HHBA for several years now and have found it to be a great introduction to the Haywards Heath business community and a support to my business. The team and all the members made me feel very welcome on joining and when I attended my first HHBA event lots of other members came over to introduce themselves and make me feel comfortable which was greatly appreciated when walking into a room where I knew absolutely no one! I’ve never seen anyone standing on their own at the events and the HHBA committee and the members have ensured that there is a very inclusive atmosphere. The weekly newsletter is the perfect size and format to find out what is going on with other members, business news and events in the local area and ensures that we are all kept “in the know”. HHBA’s business directory is a great resource when looking for local services and there is added reassurance of the testimonials on there from other members. The calendar includes a number of panel discussions across a range of topics which is invaluable to business owners and a great opportunity to have a fresh look at the different areas of our business’ and ensure we are up to date on all the things we are ultimately responsible for, something which is always difficult to do when running the business day to day. In short: I believe the HHBA is a great organisation to join for business owners in the local area. There is a huge amount of support both in terms of networking and information to help you in running and growing your business. Highly recommended! ” Zoe Daines – Freshmill

“ I have been a member of HHBA for some years now. As a small business owner it offers me networking, collaboration opportunities and a chance to learn from others be it formally through an Ask the Expert session or just chewing the fat with a fellow member over a glass of something. Definitely worth the membership fee. ” Jacqui Smith – Homesmiths

“ Since joining the HHBA a few years ago, I can only describe our experience as positive: HHBA are a proactive organisation and host several varied events throughout the year, suitable for all types of businesses including networking and social events. The former allow us to network with like-minded businesses and the latter are fun events which also serve as an excellent networking platform. This is apart from numerous training events. Membership has also helped to raise our profile in the region and through the various events given us access to clients and those that refer work. In short membership is a good investment and one we would recommend. ” Karim Mohamed – Mayo Wynne Baxter

“ I joined HHBA to meet new businesses and contacts in a relaxed environment. The HHBA has a diverse range of friendly members who I like to do business with. ” Paula Tomlinson – On The Spot Tax Limited

“ I have been a member of HHBA for a while now. It is a very proactive, enlightening and friendly group. The monthly evening networking events are just getting better and better. As a sole worker, it also creates the opportunity for me to get out and mix with local businesses face to face…rather than just being tied to the office! Thank you for that! ” Steve Finch – Travel Counsellor – Leisure Business

I joined HHBA in late 2019 and it has been an invaluable addition to my business life. Initially it was the opportunity to attend meetings in order to network with likeminded local businesspeople – sharing ideas and supporting each other. Then during the 2020 pandemic providing members with support and advice, informing members about all the latest Government financial Covid-19 support and organising ‘Zoom’ networking meetings. Included in these on-line sessions are the ‘Meet The Expert’ forums, covering all aspects of business – and I had the pleasure of joint-presenting the meeting on business growth, with very positive feedback. Through HHBA I have been kept updated about local matters, particularly through Council members who are also members of HHBA. Finally, the opportunity to promote my business on the HHBA website, newsletters and social media is hugely beneficial – and all for a membership fee that starts at only £10 per month. I would recommend joining HHBA to any local business entrepreneur who wants to develop and grow their business. Robert Carpenter – Management Inspirations Limited

Chichester College Group is proud to be part of the HHBA – a vibrant and exciting business networking community. It is a fantastic forum to network with like-minded business leaders; building new relationships and partnerships. Paul Rolfe – Chichester College Group

I just wanted to drop you a brief line to say a huge thank you to you (and the committee) for all your hard work. Despite being a fairly new member  you’ve all made me feel welcome and part of the local business community.I am also a member of other organisations and I can honestly say what you’ve been doing, how you’ve been doing it, and the sheer quality of content, events, attendees and everything else, has been head and shoulders above the rest. James Mallinson – Servo Private Wealth

As a member of the HHBA this has been such a go to resource for me, particularly over the pandemic. It has been the most challenging in the life of my events business and there have been some dark days, however, there has always been the amazing encouragement of my community within the HHBA. I have been so impressed with the level of support and communication within the association from virtual events, telephone calls from committee members checking that I am ok to support with governmental grants and advice. I strongly recommend any local business to join this community there is so much available and all on your doorstep. It has been my lifeline during the pandemic, and I look forward to many successful years with the association moving forward. Claire Catliff – Love Luxury Events

Sue from HHBA welcomed me back to the Association after a couple of years away due to the pandemic. She updated me on grants that are available for businesses that have been affected and it’s great to know that the HHBA has such strong links with local councils and organisations that can help. Sue talked me through the ways in which HHBA can help me with the business I’m in and extended such a warm welcome back into the business community. The HHBA is an invaluable resource which any local business needs to be involved with. Sally Waite – Brighton Harbour Hotel & Spa

The drop-in session was a fantastic opportunity to update HHBA on my business plans and to discuss the ways in which my membership could help take them forward. After meeting with Sue, I came away with some new ideas and opportunities that I had not previously considered. That, the coffee and chance to see the Freshworks site made it an hour very well spent. David Wales – SharedAim Ltd

I found the Induction about HHBA with Sue an informative fast track way of understanding how the association works whilst a friendly chat over a lovely cup of tea. Sue highlighted the great sponsoship opportunities available and SIPL Solutions will be sponsoring the website. Simon Lea – SIPL Solutions
