Have you ever tried directing someone to your Google My Business page?

It’s not easy is it.

Of course, you can use a tool like BrightLocal’s to generate a link that you can send to your customers – perhaps if you were looking for them to provide a review of the product they purchased or service you provided.

Google have realised it’s not easy enough to share these pages, which is why they’ve created short names.

Once you’ve claimed your short name – which you can do now via your Google My Business dashboard – you’ll find it’s much easier to direct people to your page.
