I recently attended a meeting with the Sussex Chamber of commerce regarding a Strategic Development Fund which is currently looking at bidding to government to create a Local Skills Improvement Plan in Sussex. If you have any comments on the following please email Sue on

  • Are there skills that your members struggle to fill in Sussex?
  • What level of skills needs are there?
  • How would you like skills delivered?
  • Is there a qualification of development programme that would attract delegates?
  • Thinking longer term what skills will they need?

On Conclusion
As for me, it has been a busy year as many in the property industry are aware. That aside I am really pleased to be joining the committee and a fresh, vibrant team. Since becoming Vice Chair, I have introduced myself to several new members, hosted a few meetings and I am really excited to be involved. I look forward to helping you maximise your membership and help grow and retain existing members of the HHBA. Thank you for your continued support for the HHBA, and I look forward to seeing you online at the next event.

Lastly, I would like to thank Sue, the HHBA committee and especially Clare, who over the last 15 Months have been going above and beyond to help the local business community in so many ways.
