MSVA UPDATES & NEWS

It’s been a soggy few weeks but finally, the sun has decided to grace us with its presence again. Isn’t it just glorious when those first warm rays start peeking through the clouds? At MSVA, we’ve been busy with forums, volunteer fairs, training and a very successful first community listening project, which we will share more about in coming weeks. This week is also jam-packed with celebrations and special occasions: World Book Day on Thursday and International Women’s Day on Friday; Sunday brings Mother’s Day and Monday marks the start of the holy month of Ramadan.

Likewise, the Cherry Tree Centre is busier than ever and our lovely centre managers Ali and Dawn are making sure everything is running smoothly for all our regular and occasional hirers.
We have our regular warm space open with snacks and hot drinks on Mondays from 12pm – 2pm and our usual Community Cafe serving snacks, drinks and lunch on Thursdays from 10am – 2pm. The Cherry Tree Centre has several different size multi-use rooms that are bookable by the public, charities and businesses and we are looking to welcome even more community groups, parties, and events this year. Currently, room hire pricing starts at £15/hour depending on the space and number of bookings. See our website for more information or email:  to book.

We look forward to working with as many of you as possible in the near future!
