Highlights include – Strengthening business relationships

Early Autumn provided two fantastic opportunities to get out and about and meet our local businesses.  Showing support and catching up with Mid Sussex businesses exhibiting at the Sussex Business Show in September and attending the sell-out collaborative ‘Power of Business Networking’ event in October.

The Power of Business Networking event brought together members from all three Mid Sussex-based business associations (BHBPA, EGBA and HHBA) and Gatwick Diamond Business. The event was a clear demonstration of the vibrant business community we are lucky to be part of here on our doorstep. Plans are already underway for the next collaboration in April 2024!

It was great to connect with new and re-connect with established businesses, previous grant award recipients, local community organisations and entrepreneurs. It provided an excellent opportunity to introduce the Council’s economic development team and promote the support available for businesses.  The team work closely with the business associations to share information signposting businesses to available support, as well as providing valuable business to business introductions. Please do get in touch with the team if we can help in anyway .

The business associations play an important role in helping us to spread the word about available support and funding opportunities. Further details about each of the associations is available via the links below.

Events are happening across the County until Spring next year. Sign up to an event or be inspired by the experiences of other businesses seen in the Case StudiesVideos and being shared by the Green Business Champions.
