Following the recent government roadmap out of lockdown, Haywards Heath Business Association has announced its new events programme for Q3 and Q4 this year.
It is packed with educational and networking events that focus on helping Mid Sussex businesses thrive in 2021.
HHBA supports and represents all businesses and organisations in the greater Haywards Heath area.
Clare Jones, owner of BrightLight Film and chair of HHBA, said: “Events are one of the most valued features of the business association and its members are keen to get back to networking in-person with peers and colleagues around the area.
The content will focus on relevant and timely issues affecting businesses in Mid Sussex, with experts offering advice on topics like Brexit, business finance, marketing and sales, and cyber security.
The sessions have been designed with business owners in mind to feature breakfast briefings and evening drinks held at various times in venues around the area, which should allow as many members as possible to participate.
The new programme for Q3 and Q4 will feature in-person events from June, but sessions will stay virtual until then.
Two HHBA members, Katie Morhen, owner of 52eight3, a communications agency for the events and live entertainment industries, and Paul Boon, founder of Boon Hospitality, have offered their expertise and support to make sure that the events programme is delivered safely and in-line with government guidance.
Paul said: “Member safety has always been the top priority for the HHBA and we’ve been keeping our eyes firmly on the Government guidance and assessing potential risks throughout the process.
“In addition, we’ve been working in partnership with many of the local venues to ensure we can facilitate networking in a COVID-safe way.”
Katie said: “Local organisations are laser-focused in generating new business and building back strong for the longer-term.
