Mid Sussex District Scouts are looking for a volunteer to take on the Treasurer role. The role requires recording financial data and reporting information from that data to interested parties. The reports are usually a summary of income and expenses of different elements within the organisation. The bookkeeping is currently done using Xero software and some assistance can be given using this, however, other methods could also be suitable (spreadsheet, QuickBooks etc.).
Reports are made monthly for 5 Explorer Scout units, the District as a whole, and any other events occurring. Gift Aid also needs to be claimed for the 5 Explorer Scout units.
