I qualified as a Reflexologist in 2013 and am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists. Members are required to complete 20 hours of continuing professional development (CPD) annually; I always exceed this because Reflexology is such a fascinating subject and there are so many interesting paths to take to increase one’s knowledge.
I worked as a student nurse for two years before going to Keele University where I studied International Relations and obtained a BA (Hons) degree. I then worked for Buckinghamshire County Council Social Services as a Rehabilitation Officer before leaving in 1988 to look after my family. In 1992 I studied Law as a post-graduate, obtaining a CPE and worked as a paralegal in Personal Injury Law, with the last 8 years or so in Family Law. I left this work in August 2016 to become a full-time Reflexologist and have not (so far) regretted doing so.
