Description:

Assist First Aid Training offers a wide range of first aid training courses within the familiar surroundings of your workplace, at a time to suit you.
But why choose us? Because we keep things simple – it’s as simple as that. Confidence building is key and we break first aid down into easy to learn, easy to remember steps. It’s better to do something, than nothing.

All businesses must be able to provide immediate assistance should anyone be taken ill or injured in the workplace, so it is your responsibility to ensure that a recognised qualification has been provided. This is where we come in. We will fit a first aid course into your working week, giving you and your staff the necessary knowledge and skills to administer First Aid should it be required, and we can provide this training in the comfort of your own workplace.

Our Emergency First Aid at Work Course is one of our most popular courses. It’s a fast paced but effective course aiming to build confidence in an emergency first aid situation, both in the workplace and at home. We cover important topics such as the roles and responsibilities of a first aider, unconscious casualty, CPR and defibrillation, seizures, choking, bleeding, shock and burns – all in six hours of face to face training. This course is perfect for anyone in a lower risk workplace, however if you need more topics covered because you have more inherent risk, the full 18 hour First Aid at Work course may be the one for you.

If you work with children it is especially important to be a qualified first aider, and our Paediatric First Aid course is ideal. It will cover the basics of first aid involving children and infants as casualties, and you will be confident in the knowledge that you can take care of the situation should a child in your care need medical attention.
