Since the Charity was established in 2001 by our late President Dame Vera Lynn, (the Forces Sweetheart), we have helped more than 700 families from across the South East who have children with cerebral palsy and other motor learning impairments. Our Charity based in Cuckfield was created to give children a place where they can learn and thrive in a warm, supportive setting that understands their unique journey.
The children who come to our Charity all have motor learning impairments and many need help to do such fundamental things as holding their heads up, to sit unaided, to stand or walk and to communicate their needs and understanding
With over 60 children now attending the Centre in Cuckfield every single week, donations from our supporters are vital to ensure we can continue to provide these much needed services for families free of charge. The services we provide include conductive education, music therapy, swimming sessions, home play sessions with our Outreach Worker and speech and language therapy.
