There’s obviously a lot of focus at the moment on post-lockdown strategy. We’ve been working on something to help businesses that find themselves in one of two scenarios:
- Those having to adapt
We know that many businesses have been hit hard by Covid19 and are having to completely rethink their business model, or adapt their offering. They need to either get in front of a new set of customers, or change their message to their existing target market.
- Those that are taking the opportunity to review their positioning
These businesses are taking the extra time they’ve got available at the moment to review their longer-term strategy and have realised that their current brand image is letting them down. Typically they’re very good at what they do, have a good reputation, and have a few of their “perfect” customers already and would like more – but they don’t have the right look to attract those customers.
The common issue both sets face is that they realise they need to change their positioning and/or branding – which in turn will make their marketing much more effective – but they don’t know how to go about it.
So we’re currently helping businesses out by offering to take them through what we call a Discovery session.
The sessions help them figure out what they need to put in place to help them get from where they are now to where they want to be, where to go to get it, and what to prioritise, given the budget and resources available.
At the moment, because we know money’s tight for a lot of people, we’re working with Coast to Capital to provide these sessions fully-funded for businesses in the C2C area (which includes Haywards Heath and surrounding areas) that are eligible.
