During the current climate we are aware that businesses require clear and concise information of what schemes and funding is available to them, so join HHBA for our next ‘Meet the Expert’ session on Thursday 3rd September.
The Business Hot House is an £11m programme of free support for businesses and entrepreneurs from pre-start to growth. There are 6 strands of support:
- Increasing Productivity and Creating Growth
- Monetisation of Innovation
- Access to Finance
- Leadership and Management Development
- Invest4 Grant Fund
The support is being delivered, currently on line, through workshops, one to one advice session, bespoke growth consultancy and peer to peer workgroups, along with a £2.8 million grant fund that can be used for a range of business growth projects. In this talk Gareth Sear will go through each of the 6 strands and explain what they will mean to you as a business and how you can benefit from the support that is being delivered by the 7 expert delivery partners across the Coast to Capital area.
Alison Barrett Partnership Manager for Jobcentre Plus, will present on the government kickstart job scheme which is offering to pay 100% of the wages of employees aged 16-24, if an organisation chooses to hire them on a six-month job placement.
Carolyn Bentley freelance business adviser and Growth Adviser at the Coast to Capital Growth Hub will discuss the business support opportunities and the latest funding that is available to our members from the Growth Hub. The Coast to Capital Growth Hub team provides fully funded advice and support to help small and medium sized enterprises drive sustainable business success and regional economic growth.
