Haywards Heath Business Association to host opportunity driven networking event

The latest networking event on Thursday 18th November saw the Mid-Sussex based organisation welcome over 50 attendees from local businesses, with many boasting a wide global clientele.

To meet its objective of identifying opportunities for its members to grow, the networking meeting kicked off with Chichester College Group’s Paul Rolfe presenting an exciting and wide range of developments happening amongst the Chichester College Group focused on supporting local businesses. Paul commented, “Haywards Heath College, part of the Chichester College Group, values HHBA as a key stakeholder. Working together we are able to support and collaborate with local businesses supporting their training and talent pipeline.”

Since the return of live events, the HHBA has seen an 13% increase in members, further sustaining its offering for local businesses to connect with both familiar and new faces. To support member of the HHBA and International Coaching Federation, Helen Tuddenham, executive consultant and coach, will also be hosting a talk on coaching and mentoring to develop guest’s leadership and career goals.

Helen commented, “As a new business owner (and at the start of a pandemic no less!), the HHBA has given me a community of other business owners, whom I can learn from as well as bounce ideas off. The sessions are always informative as well as a chance to get to know other like-minded people in the local area.”

Clare Jones, Chair of the HHBA, added, “Local networking is a great way to establish a business and is vital to create a professional presence. Working together with your local community provides an enjoyable way of sharing best practice, too – you never know what could be right on your doorstep.”
