HHBA Chair Update July 2020

Dear HHBA Community,

How are you? I know that’s generally a hard question to answer. We hope you are staying positive and business is as good as it can be under the circumstances. We understand the struggles that you are going through.

I have to be honest that here at the HHBA we have suffered a loss of membership back in April due to Covid-19. We have pulled together and remained resilient with some great teamwork from the committee. And I’m very pleased to say that we are attracting new members all the time through our Zoom meetings. What we offer at the HHBA is such cost-effective networking, that we predict that we will have regained our membership by the end to the year. So please keep spreading the word of the HHBA!

The Next Meeting in July
Our events still remain very reactive to what the business need presents at the time.
With this in mind, our Meet the Expert meeting on 14th July is being run by business coach Steve Jebson, who will give us some tools to plan the next few months and build a better future. To book into this event please click in this link https://hhba.co.uk/hhba-events/

I Love Haywards Heath Poster
Here at HHBA HQ, we have been exploring ideas on how to help the local business community and we have devised and designed (with the help from Richard Harms of Media Mammoth) a poster that can be posted to social media or printed off and placed in a shop window. This initiative has also been endorsed by many other communities including The Orchards Shopping Centre, Haywards Heath Town Council Haywards Heath Town Team and the MSDC.

The reason for this simple poster is to bring about a sense of community and economic growth within the town. So please share this with your fellow colleagues, contacts, customers and suppliers to share a united message across the town.  We really want the town to prosper and succeed and bringing the town together will enable this to happen. The poster is downloadable below.

Again Sue and the HHBA committee have been going above and beyond to help the local business community in so many different ways and we must applaud and thank them.

Please stay positive and safe and we look forward to seeing you online at the next event .

Take care
