Fundraising Coordinator – Individual Giving Vacancy – Kangaroos local special needs charity

If you have the initiative and experience to establish an individual giving and legacy programme then we would like to meet you. We are a growing and vibrant charity providing after school, weekend and holiday activities for young persons with learning disabilities in Mid Sussex. We want to provide more services to more people, whist maintaining our reputation as a provider of high quality and fun activities. This new role will make a critical contribution to our fundraising strategy, developing the support we receive from individual donors and introducing new initiatives such as legacy giving. 

This part-time position – 17.5 hours a week – is based in our new offices in Wivelsfield, Haywards Heath. Reporting to the CEO you will join our small team of office staff that facilitate the work of our experienced sessional staff who deliver the clubs and activities programmes to our members – children and young adults with learning disabilities and other complex needs. This year we are celebrating our 25th Anniversary and have ambitious plans for the future. It is an exciting time to be joining us. 

This is a permanent, part time post. The salary is in the range £25,000 – £28,000 FTE (actual salary is 50% prorate).
