Experience West Sussex Visitor Economy Business News September 2023

Our Naturally Sussex campaign is live so thank you to all that participated in helping us showcase the natural wonders of our county. We hope that our winter support plans for businesses to improve their sustainable actions and practices will help protect our natural habitats for future generations, whether it’s raising money for a local nature charity or planting trees or reducing food waste, there is plenty you can do to help protect the future. Look out for our new marketing workshops and events on our business hub events page.

Visit Britain’s latest domestic sentiment tracker from August shows little change in UK domestic trip intentions. Although, compared to last year, those planning a UK trip in the next 12 months has increased by 3% which is encouraging. We are so excited about the opening of our West Sussex stretch of the King Charles III England Coast Path on October 18th, just in time for Year of the Coast 2023. The new path from Shoreham to East Wittering provides a perfect opportunity for slow appreciation of our beautiful Sussex Bay with its awesome mix of nature reserves, beaches, and coastal towns.
