Do you have a Business in Mid Sussex? Please complete full registration to qualify

MSDC have set up an online website at www.GrantApproval.co.uk for local businesses to complete the full information required.  If you have registered already on the system please use your same email address and password. We are planning to pay all qualifying businesses – there will be certain checks we have to do as part of the process to protect public funds and against fraud – just after Easter (sorry for the very slight delay) provided all the information required has been given.

Letters have been sent out to local businesses who we believe may qualify but we are conscious that a number of businesses are closed or people are self isolating so any help you can give to promote the business grants and helping local businesses who qualify will be very much appreciated.  We have also updated our website and have put numerous messages on social media.  Anyone who has already completed the form will not need to do it again.

The guidance from the Government is again provided for your information, to try and be transparent to all Local Businesses, I have given below both the Guidance Link for Local Authorities and for Businesses. The links to these are below:-

Local Authority Guidance Link: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-guidance-on-business-support-grant-funding?5432

Business Guidance Link: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-business-support-grant-funding-guidance-for-businesses

Further guidance on the business grants is available on the Mid Sussex DC website at https://www.midsussex.gov.uk/revsandbens/business-rates/new-grants-for-business-rates/.  We are regularly updating this webpage so please keep referring to it and we also have a link to the online website.  When completing the form it may help to have your business rates bill with you and two forms of ID in relation to your business address (eg light and heating bill, bank statement)

Please do let me know if you need any additional information or clarification.
