Budweiser Brewing Group UK&I – our 100+ Accelerator providing an opportunity for start-ups in Mid Sussex

We are really proud to announce that the Coca-Cola Company, Colgate-Palmolive Company and Unilever have signed a partnership agreement with the Anheuser-Busch In Bev (AB InBev) 100+ Accelerator to jointly fund and pilot sustainable innovation in supply chains.

Together we will be running a global 100+ Accelerator challenge for start-ups seeking to find solutions to some of the most pressing sustainability and social challenges of our time such as circular packaging, water stewardship, climate change and smart agriculture. Successful entries will receive $100,000 (or the UK equivalent) worth of funding, active mentorship training from four of the biggest companies in the world and programming and pilot opportunities amongst a global network of entrepreneurs and specialists.

Originally launched in 2018, the 100+ Accelerator works to solve challenges across water stewardship, circular economy, sustainable agriculture and renewable energy.  Over the last two years the programme has accelerated 36 companies in 16 countries.  The 100+ Accelerator offers size and scale to passionate entrepreneurs to help bring their solutions to market faster. These startups have raised more than 300 million USD and are scaling globally to achieve the programme’s mission: to accelerate the world’s shift towards sustainable solutions and to do business the right way, not the easy way.

We know that the UK has a strong history on entrepreneurship and commitment to sustainability and are therefore keen to get the message out to as many UK start-ups as possible.

The deadline for entry is the 30th April.

Kind regards,

Anne Toms
