Borde Hill Sculpture Exhibition: A 20th Anniversary Celebration of Art

From 10th May to 30th September, the historic Sussex garden will be transformed into a stunning outdoor gallery, sponsored by 1st CENTRAL for the third year running. Carefully selected sculptures including towering kinetic wind art and mythological figures have been strategically placed throughout the 17acre formal garden, working in harmony with the renowned horticultural collection that has put Borde Hill on the map. Including over 80 figurative and abstract works in a diverse range of materials from bronze to glass, the display will highlight fresh new talent with some familiar names returning to be part of this special celebration of art.

Andy James, First Central’s Chief Commercial Director, said, ‘We’re delighted to continue our support of the Sculpture Exhibition in this, its 20th year. Against a splendid backdrop, the event provides a fantastic opportunity for visitors to see some amazing pieces by artists from across the country. The Sculpture Exhibition was opened by  Juliet Sargeant, RHS gold medallist, garden designer and TV presenter of BBC Gardeners’ World, Andrew john Stephenson Clarke, Managing Director and owner of Borde Hill and First Central’s Tom Acott, Head of Commercial.
