03 Dec Bennett Christmas support local charity St Peters & St James Hospice
Tuesday 20th November saw our people scrap the suits for the day and head over to local charity St Peters & St James Hospice, in Chailey.
8 members of their staff gave up their time to help the hospice by going through a whole range of donated clothes and sorting them out for sale at the hospice charity shops or recycling. It was a real eye opener for our people and a great experience that we hope we can do more of in the near future to help spread the word on the amazing work they do.
Staff member Paul Brayne said “It was time well spent for a worthy cause. I think we worked well as a team and got good feedback on the day.” He also added, “I have not laughed that much for a long time and we all know it is good for you to laugh!”
