In light of the COVID-19 emergency, we have a statement for your business for remote working. We would like to know your plans and work with you should remote working be enforced.
Like you, we have been following the news in relation to the rise of COVID-19 across the globe and within the UK.
As a valued customer, we would like to reassure you that with your support bundle your company has the ability to work remotely. The technologies we mainly use are -Google Desktop, Teams, TeamViewer and Collaborate. If you have some key people that need remote access, we need to know your plans now, and establish how we can help. Depending on the take up in demand we can enable a single remote access account to be shared. Also, we can utilise One-drive / Sharepoint which enables you to access some of your files from anywhere, on any device, while Microsoft Teams maintains collaboration and conferencing with employees and any third parties you use. This all depends on what software you have opted for but we can discuss this.
Our phone clients benefit from the ability to take their phones home and plug into their routers for remote voice (must have a POE switch at home or you will need to request a power supply). If you need a more comprehensive application, we offer Collaborate which integrates messaging , file share and conference abilities on the desktop/ Laptop and on your mobile device.
In the event that the government decides to enforce remote-working via lock-down, ABCOM are fully prepared to continue our excellent support as normal, thanks to the above technologies. In-house we use a Cloud based help-desk, remote phones and full Office 365 systems. Our staff will be based from home and have all their tools available to assist. If you needs require it, we can review the remote structure and continue to tweak the solution for you. For example , later you may wish to review Teams for your business. We will still be undertaking new project work, albeit remotely.
If any of your systems are not supported by us you need to find out asap how they will work for your remote workers. We are happy to help with any advice and guidance.

Onsite access will continue as normal until Government-mandated action takes place. Please advise us if any staff members have been infected or have been in contact with anyone with COVID -19 infection before we come to site.
